Customer Reviews
It was surprisingly slow for it being mother's day. The food was decent, about what you'd expect. I got the chicken tenders with steak fries and dumplings. The chicken tenders were a bit tough and they were even worse reheated the next day. I felt like I should have gotten more steak fries too. The young man who waited on us was friendly. It was a good dinner.
It's hard to say the service was terrible when our server was clearly struggling. It was her second day on the job and she was just not having the best time. Our bill had to be corrected three times. The food, however, was quite good and very filling. Fun place, especially when hanging with good friends.
Mac and cheese was extremely dry. The chicken in the dumplings was raw. The dumplings tasted okay but I’m not sure they were fully cooked. Gave us the butt of the bread for toast….apple butter spread was good.
I have nothing bad to say; just that the Cracker Barrel is not the same today like it was in years past. The food was fine but the portions are smaller and there's just no love in the preparation like there was before. It's just like the store is going through the motions of being a restaurant. And It's not just here; it's chain wide.
Seated us quick, which surprised us since it was Saturday night on Valentines day. Took our order, then waited 45 minutes. Order Steak and shrimp with a loaded baked potato. Had a salad first. Eventually brought my steak with nothing else. 40 minutes later I got my shrimp. On the menu the shrimp weren't breaded. Mind were breaded and cold. Still never got my potato. When it finally came I asked for a box. Then I had to wait on the bill. This is beyond their control, but while in the bathroom, a woman came in and used a stall. Wouldn't have noticed her, but she said pardon me sir when leaving. The waiter was nice, but not sure if it was him or the restaurant. I know the other waitresses were in and out of kitchen constantly with food. A couple across the isle from us were sea
