Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

I came in from out of town and wanted to pick up something reasonably priced. Cracker barrel usually never disappoints for the money. Well it did today.f I was sat down and it was about 750 or so. They put me in the front corner by the door. Seems like an easy person to see. Sat there and finally said something to the hostess and she got someone to come over. She apologized for the wait. She took my order which I tried something a little grandiose this time. I tried the stake in the grilled chicken. She asked me if I wanted biscuits I'll let her know. She came back and dropped off my drink which was sweet tea and did not taste good and I never saw her again. Another lady brought my food out after waiting for it to be cooked. No one ever brought my biscuit out like I requested.

It's been awhile since we've eaten at a Cracker Barrel restaurant, so we decided to have breakfast there. Our server Kursten was marvelous, she was professional and courteous as well, plus she had a lovely laugh. She made our day with such great service. Plus it's always good to walk around the gift shop area after having a marvelous meal and enjoy viewing the awesome items.

I'm a frequent visitor at Crack Barrel. I decided to visit a different location and I was soo disappointed. It took the kitchen over 35 minutes to get my food. The waitress asked me of I wanted some biscuits to snack on because the kitchen was behind with my food. ( I figured she was giving it to us out of a good gesture.) I was wrong! I was charged for them. When my food finally came out my food it was horrible. I will NEVER go to the Daniel location ever again. I will take the long drive to the location on Palm beach blvd.

We loved having lunch at Cracker Barrel, we were immediately greeted by a team member and Kursten took amazing care of us! What an outgoing and sweet server she is. So attentive and personable. We loved getting to know her and being served by such an outgoing person. She has a bright light and an even brighter future in hospitality. I love that they aren’t changing this location and that it’s going to stay vintage and cozy. I love the country store vibes.

There was a young man that was coming to work by the door that was a gentleman and opened the door for me. I was escorted to a table right away. The waitress came and I received my glass of sweet tea right away. In a few minutes she came back and took my order of cornbread and chicken and dumplings. Which was great. I made an extra order of corn bread to take home with me. It was an awesome day. It was Valentines Day. I was blessed someone paid my bill for me. It was worth the drive from where I live.
