I highly recommend this reserve if you want a quiet escape into nature. The 4-star environment is very peaceful and perfect for birdwatching. It’s a pet-friendly area with necessary amenities like restrooms, making it easy to spend a few hours exploring the estuarine beauty.

Craigville Beach in Barnstable Ma. On a hot summer day it will attract a good diverse crowd of all ages. It's also a long beach. The parking lot can get filled with both pay-parking or Barnstable resident Stickers. Many times from June on the waters have been 71 degrees AMAZING!! You wont go numb in 20 seconds and go into a cardiac arrest from freezing waters. Huge beach compared to small town beaches. It cost $30 to park. Clean, relatively warm in Cape Cod, wave depends on the current wind, not too clear water. When you enter the water, you feel small rocks on your feet but switches to smooth sand 10m away. If you're in Cape Cod, I recommend checking this beach.

This place was okay. Beach was sandy vs rocky. Water was clean but pretty choppy. Lots of seashells. Was a bit of a crowd even though we went mid-day on a weekday. The restrooms were not open. Only 1 porta potty that was pretty gross. We went 20 min up the road to Sandy Neck beach and thought it was better.

Gorgeous beach. Clean, not crowded, off season. Plenty of parking. 10 min. From where we were. Near food, liquor, gas, Dunks, etc. Spent the afternoon having lunch and then napping on the beach on a 70 degree Thursday in October!
