Customer Reviews
It was absolutely amazing. The meat was so tender and flavorful that you didn’t need any barbecue sauce. We ordered the Cowboy Platter and was able to get a bit of everything. I loved the potato salad. Definitely will be going back. The owners were friendly. Who Dat?!
We had the privilege of having Crane’s Craft BBQ cater the 2026 Live2Lead Annual Conference, and they did an outstanding job. The food was excellent — the brisket was a definite favorite, and Maw Maw’s Nanner Pudding was a huge hit with our attendees. You could tell everything was prepared with care and quality in mind. What truly set them apart, though, was their service. Their team went above and beyond by coming the day before the event to set up, which made the event day run smoothly and stress-free. They even stayed late to personally pass out the banana pudding so it aligned perfectly with the closing video from Jesse Cole — a thoughtful touch that did not go unnoticed. Professional, proactive, and a pleasure to work with. We are grateful for their partnership and would absolutely
We had a great experience at this BBQ place. The brisket was very good, I and my husband also liked the side dishes very much, especially the Texas bluebonnet. All staffs were very nice and friendly. Crane, the owner, came and talked to us and offered us extra treats. It was very nice of him. Thank you.
Brisket was outstanding. Sausage was best I’ve ever tasted. The potato salad, mac-cheese, cornbread muffins….perfecto!!! The folks working there are the nicest people we have ever met! Absolutely gave us a reason to come back to Abilene. Yes, a reason to come back. Thank you!!!
We ordered the cowboy platter to share between four and added a couple of sausage links and a side or two. Basically, we got everything on offer. Everything was juicy and flavorful. Highly recommend the brisket, house sausage and turkey personally. Ribs were tender and perfectly cooked and evidently change and/or rotate flavors/glazes often. All of the sides were exceptional. Do yourself a favor and don't overthink the pineapple casserole. It is awesome! Texas bluebonnets are a fresh take on an old standard. They have great flavor and will warm you up! That's all the warning you need. Overall an outstanding experience!
