Cranston Public Library: Arlington Branch

Went into the library so my wife could return a book,I came in with my service animal and the woman Kathy at the front desk said my dog wasn't allowed in the library when I had told her he is a service animal she asked to see proof of my service animal service animal certificate, I was so embarrassed and felt disrespected,when I said it's illegal to ask for said proof she said those aren't the rules there. I have emotional issues that make it hard for me to leave the house as it is and now I can't even go into the public library near my home. Thank you Kathy for the embarrassment and for making my day even harder than it already is.

The woman at the front desk was rude as I couldn't pronounce the names of the books and was reluctant to check out some of the books I was going to check out for my summer reading saying that I couldn't check them out because "other people also needed the book more than me" or something like that, but the library was very nice and I would definitely go back but I feel that I would rather go to another library even though they are farther than this one, because of the trauma I faced because of that experience. After writing the review above this I have gone back to the library twice to check out books for projects. The second Time I went, it was as if all their books on Science had vanished because they told me that they had no left and made me order books that I didn't even want and when

I had several horrible experiences with this library and every time I walk into this place i get told you have leave in 2 hours maximum time. The three different women that work in this library are absolutely awful people and openly don't care about anyone except themselves. Every time I have visited this library these 3 different women practice doing a dictatorship. They frequently call the police to do verbal and physical abuse tree

I love to go to this place when i need books and i find them

Great place is small but its a friendly enviroment
