Crawdad Hole

Very interesting place to eat. Am happy we stopped by !!! The scenery maje u wanna keep looking but the seafood need more season. Couldn't taste no season on food

It’s window service. No beer but it’s BYOB. Excellent crawfish, shrimp and all the usual suspect sides. Crawfish are clean, hot, easy to peel and seasoned just right. Shrimp are easy-to-peel as well. Served with a side of cocktail and a butter-like mixture. Corn is good, sausage is good. They have all of the soft drinks. Seating is first come first serve at picnic tables. Small “inside” eating area. Plenty of parking in the Smith Wills lot.

For an out-of-towner, it was cool spot to grab a bit after visiting the museum next door. Every thing had good spice and flavor. I thought the prices were reasonable but again, I'm not a local. Plenty of parking and plenty of picnic style sitting both indoor and outdoors. Restrooms are small one at a time use but works. As bar options but also has BYOB for $3.

This is not the place to eat and be CUTE. Probably shouldn't wear your "Sunday- go-to-meeting clothes" to the Crawdad Hole..... cause you cant eat a boiled crawfish with a fork.. 😁😁😁 I like the atmosphere, laid back environment.. Old school music, good food.... fantastic

Highly recommended. You can try the crawdads before you buy them. Fantastic flavor! Cajun eggs were amazing if you like a spicy hard boiled egg!! 😋 And very easy parking even with an RV!
