Crossbow Inn

We had a great dinner experience here. Our server was Stephanie & she made great recommendations and was on it. The bartender was very busy but kept drinks moving quickly. We really enjoyed the blackened tuna and the Sherwood Forest Chicken. We also ordered a bucket of wings with the sauce on the side, delicious.

I ordered the seafood pasta and the shrimp was wayyyy over cooked and it was literally drenched in liquid butter there was more butter than sauce. The salad that came with my dish was really good. My gf got a chicken Caesar salad she said it had very little toppings for the price and it was mostly lettuce. Server was great. I also got the clam chowder and that was awesome.

We arrived for dinner at 5PM on a Friday. It took approximately 10 minutes for a family of 4 to be seated. I liked the atmosphere of the restaurant. We ordered burger, chicken strips and chicken club. The food was good but I would not order any of those options again. I will go back because I believe that there are potentially great signature dishes. Next time I would try the reuben and the prime rib.

Packed house but the service didn't suffer. Our waitress was super attentive and friendly. We had a party of 10 all on separate bills. We didn't ask for that but that's how it came. Food was excellent. 8 of of 10 of us got the French dip and all loved it. One person got a burger and she said it was excellent. My fish and chips was also great. Everything went smoothly and we all had a great time. We'll definitely be back!

Don’t let the exterior turn you away from the Crossbow Inn. The inside was charming and staff were great! Food was a good price and yummy. The fried cauliflower was an interesting choice but one I would make again. Salads were yummy. Ranch was great!
