Crossroads Inn

The Crossroads Inn has a special place in our hearts after our recent stay for our anniversary. It’s the most charming, cozy getaway but what really makes it so special are the Innskeepers. They were so incredibly kind and helpful. The service was impeccable and the breakfast was truly the best. We felt so welcomed and it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. There were countless thoughtful touches from a handwritten note, to a beautiful illustrated guide to the area. The Inn was less than a 5 minute drive from everywhere we wanted to go and they gave the best recommendations for wine and food. Definitely will be recommending Crossroads Inn to everyone we know!

Lovely old inn, from the early 1800’s, just outside Charlottesville, VA, best for a couples weekend get away or quick overnight. Excellent views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, very close to Dr. Ho’s pizza (best pizza in C’ville) and gas station with sundries store, easy drive to the Skyline Drive and other tourist areas. Hosts are generous with their time, very communicative via email and phone and although this is a place best suited for couples or the solo traveller, they readily welcomed my family. We saw they are pet friendly as well. ||The new owners have made many vital improvements since our previous stay in 2020. The shower water was very hot and overall the inn is quite well maintained with windows that open easily and a lovely tea kettle with generous sized cups. My daughter enjoye

We had such a wonderful stay at the Crossroads Inn. It was so historic and cozy, and our suite (Traveler’s) was super clean and spacious. My father stayed in the Pippin Cottage and he truly didn’t want to leave! Gracie and Matt provided the best hospitality— wonderful customer service and you genuinely felt like they cared about every aspect of your visit. Chef Joe made a delicious savory and sweet breakfast both days- we were spoiled! My daughter loved feeding the chickens and we loved exploring the beautiful grounds of the property. The location of the Inn was great- a stone’s throw from the best winery ever (Pippin Hill) and a short drive to Monticello and downtown Charlottesville. Thank you again for a lovely birthday weekend and we will be back!

This was a fantastic stay. Over the top hospitality. Staying in an historic bed and breakfast was truly enjoyable. We had a great breakfast prepared by Chef Joe. The selection of teas and nespresso was very much appreciated. Our interaction with Phylis the GM at both the winery and the Inn was fantastic. We were treated as special guests and can’t wait to return.

I’m not usually one to write a review, but our stay was so exceptional that I felt like I must! We originally booked the Inn just as a convenient stay while visiting Pippin farms for the weekend. What we weren’t expecting was the unique, carefully curated, and beautiful stay! Every detail of your stay is thought out and planned perfectly. I couldn’t recommend this place enough to anyone thinking of staying. And make sure to book the dinner at the Inn if available! Thank you to the cooks and wonderful staff for a memorable weekend. We most definitely will be back!
