Crown Fried Chicken

I had chicken and rice. Despite it being the end of the day at 1 a.m., the chicken was succulent, the batter was crisp, the rice was tender and the salad was fresh. Decent portion. The man who served me was polite and friendly.

Gives great service every time. Always hot and ready when ordering over the phone, feels like it just came out pippin hot. Never a complaint receiving, feels like family every time I enter.

Friendly customer service. I live in the neighborhood they are always pretty busy throughout the day and manage to keep customer service great. I have tried every chicken spot in Newark and crown definitely has the best chicken here.

Best Italian cheese burgers. I get 1 everyday and they don't miss. Chicken is always fresh. They drop every 20 mins. Best chicken spot in NJ.

Ate lunch here during Winter Storm Stella. They were pretty much the only place open but wow was it good! The fries and the 6 piece chicken were delicious. The hot & spicy chicken fingers could have been a bit more spicy but they were good too. The service was great. Such a great snow day moment.
