Crust Issues Pizza

Decided to stop in after seeing this all over instagram, as New Haven pizza people, we wanted to see if it lived up to the hype! We knew prior to coming it was a square, thin crispy crust with the potential for do it yourself service. We got the pepperoni pizza and the undercarriage was not charred but did have crispy edges. Overall the pizza had a decent flavor but had a greasy taste and chewy dough (in places) in our opinion. Tomato sauce was good, and lots of pepperoni. The people were nice, but there’s essentially no service.

Had an amazing time, we waited for a bit as we had no reservation and its a small space. Most tables were participating in the 8 course dinner. We were acknowledged three seperate times by workers which was great that we were seen. We were finally offered a table and they were super accomodating. We got a buffalo chicken cesar and a chicken vodka parm sandwich, 10/10!!! Absolutely delicious. I couldnt reccomend enough. While it is busy, the staff is just lovely. Come try out this great food!

decided to check out the dinner tasting club with my husband! The owner is super nice and remembers everyone by name and accomodate your reservations through instagram DM which was easy! Unfortunately we wanted to add others onto our reservation but they said they didn’t have space but there were a bunch of open spots- I’m sure it’s because of limited count for the tasting which is totally fine! Most of the courses were great! The sweet potato pizza was our favorite we will be back to get a whole one, we also had some wings which lacked in sauce but were super crispy, really good pastina, butternut squash cheesy pasta which was great, and a hibachi soup shot with dipping bread. Excellent food! Pizza delicious!!! The homemade mozzarella sticks in scarpielo sauce is an absolute hit!! 10/10 highly recommend. The sandwiches are crispy, cheesy & a great portion! But what sealed the deal for us is the service and hospitality. Dan was very welcoming & a made us feel right at home. We’ll definitely come back

The square bar style pies were OK, the Italian Combo Topped and Chopped was good (but overrated), and the Chicken Parm Entree with spaghettios and vodka sauce was great! Decent selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic cans to choose from with a nice TV for sports.
