Cucumber Sushi & Salad Bar on Hylan

If you want delicious and fresh sushi come to cucumber. Best spot on the island. I’ve been there a hand full of and I was never disappointed.

This place was great a year ago, but recently, it has been awful! Gave it so many chances because they used to be great, but it has been nothing but disappointment. Food is not always fresh/tasty, portions are inconsistent, and at times mushy and tasteless. However, this last order was the final straw - ordered a salmon avocado, but received .... photos shall speak for itself, see attached.

I recently had an amazing dining experience at this sushi restaurant. The menu offers a fantastic variety of sushi rolls and Japanese delicacies, all made with high-quality ingredients. The sushi chefs are incredibly skilled and passionate, and the presentation of the dishes is stunning. The service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is cozy yet elegant. It's a must-visit for sushi lovers!

Cucumber Sushi have the best garden salad on the Island. Always fresh & crisp regardless of the time you order them. I’ve ordered them late night for dinner previously; and today, I had it for lunch. Always FRESH. You will not spot one dark lettuce in there. I had the 3 rolls lunch special. It was accompanied with a large bowl of miso soup, & my fav salad. Super fresh and delicious. Most important of all, 5 courses for less than $15. Where can you get that nowadays? Not to mention, the green tea was authentic, and it was free of charge. Nowadays, so many sushi places would charge you $2-3 for a cup of hot tea. Highly recommend this place. I’ll return soon.

Best sushi I’ve had in the area. Always fresh and consistently good! The rice is always cooked properly and the preparation of the sushi is always expertly done. The menu has a nice variety of sushi, sashimi and kitchen items. My go to sushi place! Never disappoints!
