Cultivar San Francisco

Came here for dinner and some drinks and the food was a lot better than expected!! We ordered quite a few things for a group of 7- ended up around $56 per person for wine and food. Standout was definitely the mushroom risotto- super creamy and just the perfect rice texture, not too hard and not too soft. I would pass on the sliders and the shrimp scampi next time as well as the charcuterie (sliders were just okay and I didn’t rly enjoy the texture of the noodles for the pasta). The place itself is pretty small but vibes were great!

We came in as a walk-in around 4:15 pm. The hostess told us, “We can sit you, but in an hour we have reservations coming…” which didn’t feel very welcoming. Still, we decided to stay. Our waiter was nice and attentive, nothing negative to say about the service from him. The menu was very limited, and we were told it was because they were still serving lunch and dinner would start in about 30 minutes. The prices felt quite high for the options available. I ordered the burger, and the meat was very black on one side, almost burnt. The other dish we ordered was tacos, which were okay but nothing special. Hosted a party for about 50 guests at Cultivar. Sarah and the team at Cultivar were responsive, accommodating of our requests, very helpful during the planning process. The drinks and food were great. The patio atmosphere was very cozy. We and our guests had a lovely time.

Planned a work holiday party with Cultivar and could not be more thrilled with the food and service we recieved. They went above and beyond to make it special and easy to execute. We utilized the outdoor space, which was beautiful and set up perfect for our group. We worked with Sarah, who was able to exlain the process and requirements needed on our end. Everyone really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Thank you, Cultivar for providing such a lovely space, amazing service and support.

Excellent food and local wine! Started out with the citrus burrata and beef sliders. Both were top notch! The tuna tartar with avo and mango was also ordered by my fellow dinner guests, and was reported to be fab as well. I had the white truffle caesar which I strongly recommend, as well as the butternut soup (seasonal). Other entrees ordered by my friends include the mushroom risotto, pork chop, and salmon. The homemade ice cream made for a super strong finish--don't slip it! The servers were kind and efficient. Two thumbs up! 👍👍 😁
