Culver’s

Culver's is usually pretty good, and this one's decent. The food was hot and came out fast. The restaurant itself was clean, and the Oreo custard was yummy as always. I'd probably go back, but I'm not a huge fan of Culver's in general. I only go because my partner really loves their onion rings, and they always get them whenever we're here. The custard was really good, though. I got the Oreo flavor, and it was nice and creamy with lots of Oreo pieces mixed in.

I visited the Island Lake Culver’s on Thursday, December 11 and Sunday, December 14, 2025. I am an avid fan of Culver’s and I have visited 44 locations in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Missouri, Kentucky and Florida. The food was excellent and the service was quick. You can go through both the drive through and walk in and won’t be disappointed. I definitely recommend the ice cream and the chicken. 5/5 I will definitely be back very soon. (Written 12-21-25)

It was COLD outside and my brother and I had been working outsideball day. Sadly, the only airflow in the restaurant was cold, perhaps because the inside double door was intentionally propped open. The Butterburger with everything on it, though, was hot and it was delectable, itself making the trip worthwhile. The fries were OK, and the frozen custard of the day (pumpkin pecan) was free by buying the meal as a kid's meal (economizing tip). Alas, although smooth and sweet, I couldn't taste the pumpkin, and the pecans sprinkled onto the pumpkin ice cream weren't very flavorful either. So a disappointment given all the other delightfully flavored and textured frozen custards I'd enjoyed at Culver's.

Plenty of parking available. Short wait in line to place my order, cranberry bacon Bleu salad. It wasn't long for my meal to arrive at my table. It was very tasty!

This place is understaffed. Waited five minutes for my order to be taken. The man behind the counter put an order together for patrons in the dinning room. Not one other server stopped to take my order. I’m patient but when one server asks five times for someone to take my order. I walked out. Poor customer service. Poor communication. Poor service. Do not recommend. Understaffed.
