Very good food in my opinion very traditional with its own seasoning, the very good service always aware of everything and the atmosphere very quiet and very relaxed, my wife and I ordered gobi muchurian, crispy baby corn, with mango lassi and Indian masala chai which all lived up to the hype. We got really excited for the main course - chicken tikka masala, paneer makhni, malai kofta and lentils along with some garlic naan, butter naan and plain rice. The lentils were very comforting and the other dishes made me lick my fingers. Sooo good 👍 Going home with full tummies and happy hearts!
If I could call this, the worst culinary experience of my life ever, I would. First and foremost, we were asked to pay for the order even before it arrived stating that it was their closing time — no hospitality or restaurant business has the right to ask for pre payment. Secondly, the manager or the person in charge was straight away disrespectful right from the start to the end. He shoved the food on the table, didn’t even bother to bring them one by one- they brought all the food together and dumped it on the table. Coming to the food, horrible is the word. I would never personally call food horrible but this was the most obnoxious food experience. They just dumped all foods from India on the menu, they do not know what goes in recipe, their menu says something and they bring something
Great food, I loved it. My 5 year loved actually said “this food is good”. Nice people and good service.
Very disappointed with my experience at Cumin India Restaurant. Right from the start, the service felt uncomfortable—the server gave judgy looks rather than a welcoming vibe, which immediately set a negative tone. The food was equally underwhelming. The baby corn Manchurian was over-fried, completely losing its texture and taste. The noodles were extremely bland—no sauce, no salt, and absolutely no flavor. The dal makhani had no hint of makhan or richness that the dish is known for. Overall, it was a poor experience both in terms of service and food quality. Unfortunately, this is not a place I’d return to.
The place has a nice dimly-lit look, and the service was quick. Good seating for both small and large groups. The food was hit or miss. The tandoori platter and chicken corn soup were disappointing, but the malai kofta and madras chicken were delicious. The chili garlic naan was good too. They gave us complimentary dal tadka, which was a nice touch—and it tasted great. For dessert, the gulab jamuns were good, but the mango kulfi was old and icy, not fresh. Overall, it’s a decent spot, and I’d go back, but you might need to try a few different dishes to find what you like.
