Currituck Trading Post

Even though it's small, this was a great place to enjoy eating outside with a great view of the sound! Their bartender made a delicious peach on the beach and the bang, bang shrimp and beef taquitos from their food truck were fantastic! Not very crowded, but they had a great band playing. A welcome change from big crowds and very loud music!

Stop here, by boat or car, let the kids or dogs stretch their legs & swim while you take a break from driving. Grab a bite to eat and relax to live bands or the sound of the water. Beautiful outdoor & indoor seating area. Rent a kyak or paddle board and learn within their shallow inlet. Kids as young as 1/2 can safely swim with floats. Bring giant floats, put their floatopia on your event calendar. Fairly prices, relaxed atmosphere, great food and great people. All the employees were friendly and helpful. The doors on the wall within the building have beautiful wall paper over them, open them to check out their selection of cold drinks. Events all summer long. Check out this local hot spot. Owned and operated by a father son duo and their doing a fantastic job!

I am beyond impressed, I had the bang bang shrimp wrap, it was outstanding. We got a cheese and pepperoni pizza it was phenomenal. Also had wings and tipsy pig fries, everything was great. Cold beer, hot food, great service! Thanks yall

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Must-Stop in Currituck! If you’re driving, boating, or traveling through Currituck by any means and you don’t stop at Currituck Trading Post, you’re missing out! The food is outstanding, the atmosphere is fun and relaxed, and the staff make you feel like family. It’s the perfect spot to grab a bite, take a break, and soak in that authentic Currituck charm.

We went for the water, and the CTP was an added bonus. It would be nice if it was easier to access the water without navigating through the shop though. We carried our bagged boards through as all the gates were closed. We put paddleboards in and when we were done, we grabbed lunch. I had a bang bang shrimp wrap and sweet potato fries with a Mojito Crush and it was absolutely delicious. There were plenty of coolers with cold drinks to choose from, and seating was both indoor and outdoor. It was very clean with the exception of spider webs on the outdoor tables and water access ladders. Already planning our next outing.
