Curtis park deli is the best sandwich shop with true artisan quality fresh baked bread in the Denver area with counter service! I just went to Mr Lucky’s sandwiches yesterday, another top sandwich shop, and man I don’t know why I go anywhere else for the best Italian sub in Denver. The FOOD at Curtis park is phenomenal! The bread is the best sandwich bread I have ever had without going to a gourmet restaurant. It has all the complexity in taste and texture of a quality homemade loaf. The meat and cheese quality as well as the thickness of the cut of meat is delicious in taste and blends well with the texture of bread. 15 minute wait because there were plenty of customers on a Saturday afternoon but it was worth it. Got the spicy turkey and the heat was just right. Very laid back establishment that I highly recommend.

I have had both the Curtis and the French sandwiches—both of which were divine. The sandwiches are simple but delicious. Service is fast and friendly. This is one of my favorite delis in the Denver metro, and I will definitely be a returning customer. The parking lot for this location has about 10 spots, and there is also adjacent street parking.

I ate at Curtis Park Deli for the first time today and had such a great experience. I was really excited to try it because my boyfriend always talks about how it’s one of his favorite sandwich spots. After we ordered, the cashier told us we could take a seat while our sandwiches were being prepared. When our order was ready, he brought our food out to us and let us enjoy our meal before paying. I know it’s a small gesture, but moments like that truly make my day and really stood out to me. I ordered the caprese sandwich and it was absolutely delicious. You could really tell how fresh the ingredients were. Overall, everything about the experience was great and the sandwich was amazing. I definitely recommend Curtis Park Deli and will absolutely be back!

the embodiment of the perfect sandwich shop. i should come back when i have photos of their sandwiches, but i can’t muster the patience. their classic meat & cheese sandwiches are perfectly constructed, but there are two options on their menu that deserve special praise. fish- balanced mix of smokey & acidic. every bite has the right amount of every ingredient. veggie- huge slabs of zucchini & a generous layer of goat cheese make this impressive. veggie sandwiches tend to slide apart, and this place packs everything into a stable handful.
