Found this place during a business trip. The staff were so nice. The owner and her mother spoke with us. We had the homemade burger which was very good. I love supporting local ma and pa restaurants. Give them a try. I know I will return when in the area.

We tried their mushroom Swiss burger & fries combo and their taco plate. Both of the entrees were delicious. The burger’s bun was nicely toasted and the meat was flavorful and juicy. Their tacos were on special and they didn’t disappoint. The shells were homemade and crunchy, and their taco meat was reminiscent of the way my mom used to make it. Their rice and beans were authentically made. I’ll definitely be going back to try their unique appetizers. The atmosphere isn’t 50’s themed and quaint.

The menudo was soooo good with pigs feet.

Enjoyed my visit. Staff were friendly. Food was full of flavor. I had the chicken fried steak delicious. My guest had the shrimp special greatly seasoned.

Best Hamburger I've had in years and the best in Alice Texas. We're talking just like the movie "the menu" old fashioned like mom and dad bought me when I was a kid that they could barely afford, the one you'll remember. None of that avant garde bs you get at most new restaraunts. Congrats on your new endeavor and as long as you stick to the basics, you'll have a line at the door.
