Dairy Queen

We stopped at this Dairy Queen for an after dinner treat. We ordered an Oreo Blizzard, a Double Chocolate Brownie Blizzard as well as a small Vanilla Ice Cream Cone with Rainbow Sprinkles. We all enjoyed our selections and had ample choices of seating options. The reason I rated the atmosphere only two stars is because the whole place needs a major overhaul and cleaning. Take a look at the red roof on the outside. A good pressure washing would do wonders. A lot of the floor and sidewalk tiles are broken or missing. Obviously nothing has been upgraded in years.

This place is a rip off. I ordered a small hot fudge subdae and blizzard and the sundae cup was half full. Paid almost ten dollars for both. Go on to Sylva DQ they give you your money’s worth. Over again.

My kid asked me to write this review. He loved the chocolate chip cookie dough blizzard. We also had banana split- so good, New York cheesecake royal blizzard & pineapple topped ice cream. And we ordered cheese curds and onion rings to go. We ate the onion rings way later and they were still crunchy and delicious which doesn’t happen often. Quick service by the employees.

We were rambling through the mountains and came to Cherokee. The first thing we see is a Dairy Queen and decided to stop for a Blizzard. This was a really nice treat. Service is a bit unattractive and the place is not the best kept but the Blizzard was a treat. It is worth stopping and a great warm weather treat.

Got a cookie dough blizzard and an eggnog shake somthing tasted off almost like the ice cream was soured. Definitely go to sylva if you want ice cream. Didn't have time to go get my refund threw the ice cream away.
