I have had the absolute worst experience at this business. For anyone reading this, don't waste your time or money at this business. The employees and manager are ignorant, foul tempered, unintelligent, and unapproachable. I tried calmly explaining that my order was wrong and there were hardly any fries in the meal. They told me I had to pay extra or get a refund and then get extra fries. I said fine I'll just pay for the extra fries. I also explained that I was given 4 ranch instead of the 5 I paid for. I had already waited 12 minutes for my food at the drive thru. They told me to "go count them again." I said I would go back and get the bag but I'd like my entire oder remade to which the manager told me she wasn't going to remake my food even if there are 4 ranch in the bag and threatene
Two Stars – But Only Because the Blizzard Flipped Ah, from the outside, this Dairy Queen Grill and Chill screams mediocrity with all the charm of a highway rest stop. Once inside, you’re greeted by paper snowflakes dangling from the ceiling like a sad holiday party that refuses to end. In July. That’s not festive, it’s confusing. Maybe it’s a metaphor for their service: seasonally out of sync and oddly limp. The dining area is a claustrophobic cluster of booths, arranged with all the precision of a game of Tetris played blindfolded. Fire code violations? Possibly. A rodeo poster here, a dusty Ellensburg shout-out there, it’s like the walls are trying to convince you they’re in on the local charm, but much like the lighting behind the menu board (burnt out and tragic), it’s a dim attempt.
Love Dairy Queen on a hot summer day. This one near CWU is old school in design and interior. Very cool old-style booths and tile accents on the walls. It’s small and the staff is friendly and efficient. Had a delicious Girl Scout thin mint blizzard and a chocolate dip cone. The best!
Food was okay I guess, went to the drive thru to pick up our mobile order, we were told we specifically had to come inside, sounds weird, but whatever. So we go inside to get our food and not that it matters much to me but we weren't greeted, or even nearly acknowledged until someone finally came up to us and asked "what do you want" rude first off, I work customer service too and I know they teach you better. So she hands us our food (with my half full small SMASHED fries) and makes one of the drinks (a mt dew that was suppsed to be the normal but was definitely diet and with the ice we specifically asked for none of) and just walks away, so we stand there for another 5 minutes while she helps another girl with a drive thru order, still doesnt acknowledge us so I had to tell her we are st
F- Only two fry size options. Drive through lane only had trucks in it. Not sure what took so long. Got to the window, waiting on fries and employee was like, 'oh, you still want those?' Sauces are separate charge and don't come with fries but also didn't ask if I wanted sauce. I said yes, I'd pay for sauce and then they didn't want to sell sauce. Dizzying amount of confusion. Also, I've never seen mini blizzard dropped into larger size cup and then plastic capped. What a waste of single use plastic. Also, still attempting to do the classic DQ and show you the flipped blizzard before handing it to you. I get it, Ellensburg is hot! Really though, you probably paid more for the double packaging than the sauce or running my card again.
