Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

Stopped into this dairy Queen for 🍦 ice cream and dessert only. Very convenient location and somewhat friendly staff. The staff are obviously not the quickest or happiest to be there but made do. The ice cream treat I got was superb but I probably wouldn't have sat down or got their savory food at this location. This location also had ♿ handicap accessible 🅿️ parking, seating, and 🚻 restroom with a drive-thru.

I ordered the Oreo blizzard cake and what I got is not the Oreo blizzard. The owner reassured me that it was a Oreo blizzard. Looking at the two pictures of the Oreo blizzard that they gave me and the Oreo blizzard that they carry are not the same. The owner said it’s only different on the top because of the writing on the cake. Y’all be the judge is it the same cake or am I trippin? The birthday girl was disappointed and so am I cause they (the young lady in the store and the owner over the phone) lied to me about a cake instead of giving me one out of the freezer and disregarded my value as a loyal customer. The young lady behind the counter didn’t even want to talk to me. They did not hear what I was saying at all. That is clearly two different cakes.

After a long, sun-soaked day at the beach with my son, I thought, “What better way to end the day than a father-son Blizzard run?” We rolled into DQ sandy, tired, and ready for that sweet, frozen reward. I ordered a Double Cookie Dough Blizzard — $8 of pure dessert glory (or so I thought). What I got, vanilla ice cream, should have went to Sam's and saved $7. The top had a few shy pieces of cookie dough peeking out like they were afraid of commitment. But the bottom 75%? Straight vanilla ice cream. No chunks. No swirls. No joy. Just cold, creamy disappointment. By the time we noticed, we were already cruising down the interstate, my son digging through his for gold that wasn’t there. He gave me a look like I let him down. I love everything about Dairy Queen! Simple vanilla sugar cone to the fancy blizzards! There is something for everyone. This one has cool facts about Dairy Queen and Orange Julius through time presented on one of the walls. It was clean and with a friendly staff!

Sunday March 6th at 7:42pm I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich combo and this is what I received, a raw sandwich. After requesting to speak with a manager, she approached me with iPods in her ear wither listening to music or on a call. She did not apologize. She told me that she could issue a refund in which I said ok. The fact that she didn’t acknowledge the grave mishap or apologize says a lot of this leadership and location.
