Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

Over 15 minutes in the Drive-thru. From sitting behind 3 other cars, just to order. After order made and paid, another 12 minutes to receive food. Every car was asked to wait for "hot/fresh" food. Once I received mine, it was hot but no where near fresh. Bacon was burned, it was black and thrown in the box. Barley on the sandwich. The meat was scorched! Black, burnt tasting. Definitely a burger king meal, overly cooked. Fries were hot and good and the coke was good. I'm traveling and jumped off interstate to get food. No way or time to go back. Not sure what it cost since no receipt was given. Young lady who brought food out apologized for the wait. That would have been okay if it was a few minutes, but NOT HALF HOUR. So disappointed. Left a 1 star because I couldn't leave a zero. Ordered $22 worth of food and couldn't get it because all I have is $100 bill. What kind of fast food restaurant can't in some way make change for $100. Is there no manager that can't get into a safe or do the workers just not give a crap? I'll never know because I'll never go back.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The behavior of the employees at this Dairy Queen was absolutely disgusting. I came in to eat ice cream inside—a full two hours before closing—and had only been sitting for about 15 minutes when one of the workers came over and rudely demanded we leave. She snapped, “It’s been 20 minutes, y’all gotta go,” which, might I add, was not even true. No one was being loud or disruptive, and we had both been respectful and polite when ordering. I actually cannot believe we were kicked out two hours before they even close because “we had been there too long.” Insane. Went to the drive thru tonight and had no one behind me and it was 3 hours until closing. I asked the lady to hold on a minute because I was trying to look at the menu. My husband and I have only ate dairy queen one time and we didn't know what all they had. After a few minutes this lady had the audacity to yell through the speaker in a very rude way if we were ready to order. We began ordering but as we ordered she continued to be rude as if we were wasting her time. We told her never mind and drove off. Seriously if this is what they think customer service is they need to rethink how they receive their paycheck. I have worked for the public on and off since I was 16. I would never talk to a customer the way that woman talked to us. She needs fired.

Great help and went out of their way to make the cake special. Employees are happy and friendly. I've cream is awesome as always.
