Daly's Donuts

Amazing place! My wife, daughter, and I stopped in for the first time today and there was a line over a block and a half long — which usually means something good. After trying the doughnuts, we immediately understood why. They were easily the best doughnuts we’ve ever had. The coffee was excellent too. Definitely our new go-to spot whenever we’re craving doughnuts.

Wonderful atmosphere, even better donuts. Showed up for the grand opening of their brick and mortar, line was around the block! Staff is super cute too!

Ran into Dalys Donuts Instagram & what immediately caught my attention was that they bake their donuts not fry. Placed my order for Sunday 12/1 and I’m so happy I stumbled upon their instagram. I ordered a dozen of the seasonal box & loved how the flavors were well balanced, soft & not overwhelming sweet. Can’t wait to place an order again!

Let me be very clear here as this is a spectacular new venture; established in 2023, that is turning the Chicago donut scene on its head. This young, magnificent couple, Alejandra Peña, and her partner and husband Connor have discovered the secret of succulent, amazingly Rich, and decidedly deep flavors that are uncommon in a donut that I find very often. It's reminiscent of donuts from days of old. They mostly sell at farmers markets but do sell on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 AM till noon in the Lincoln Park area on Halstead. Absolutely worth seeking out. The caramel apple donut? perhaps the greatest donut I've ever eaten. They don't call the munchkins, they can't. Their dunkers are decidedly delicious and they have a shelflife of several days. Amazing.

Tried their baked donut at Applefest and they were so delightfully delicate and tasty!
