Visited the Dam Overlook Recreation Area Monday 1/10/22 at around 8 am after being on the Lake Loop Trail for .5 miles one way. Trail in good condition if not a bit muddy in some areas great lake access trail in between Eagle Point Recreation Area and Dam Overlook Recreation Area. The Dam Overlook Recreation Area has maybe 10+ parking spaces with a handicap parking space right next to the two clean vaulted and well stocked toilets (one stall is closed in winter). Nearby are life jackets free of charge, the boat launch is accessible to carry craft only as it is semi blocked off, there are picnic tables behind the the dam memorial sign and under big trees and lots of rolling hill grass. Great areas for young children and the picnic area, bathrooms, and boat launches are handicap accessible.
Nice area located close to dam spillway. Restrooms fairly clean and don't smell. Good pit stop area
Quite peaceful place. There is a boat loading place and restroom
parking permit required ridiculously priced or drive in? look around and get out
My favorite place to park for a nice mountain bike ride around the lake
