D'Angelo Grilled Sandwiches

MGMT: GET YOUR LAZY STAFF IN CHECK! For mos I have been consistently calling this location to place a takeout sandwich order between 8:35 - 8:40 p.m. and instead of picking up they make me drive there to order the sandwich while waiting. Tonight I started calling at 8:37 and called consistently until 8:48. No luck, so I drove over there and ordered the sandwich while watching them make it in front of me. I would never order anything but a cold sandwich after 8:30, which takes them 5 min to make. This behavior is consistent among multiple staff mbrs. At the very least, they could pick up the phone to say, "cold sandwiches only." This is laziness among the staff b/c they don't want to make a sandwich of any sort. They want to leave as early as possible. Picking up the phone to admit that is

Never had a bad experience! Frank and his crew are fast, friendly and courteous. My only problem with them is, I never visit often enough to satisfy my cravings!

I used to love their sandwiches, but the last couple of times I've had them they were very dry and the bread was stale. I don't live very close so I've only eaten here a couple times in the last 2 years. Both times were awful and the second I never even finished my sandwich.

Sandwiches were good. Staff didn't seem like they wanted to be there. But food was good.

A relatively simple menu is printed neatly above the counter where you order. There is some seating at this location and it is varied in type, but the whole area feels rather snug. They offer bottle or fountain drinks. We didn't wait too long for our 3 large sandwiches. They were still hot when we got them back home. Plenty of parking.
