We hired Danielle's Back East for our wedding this summer. Their food speaks for itself and it's one of the best BBQ in the PNW. One of the most reasonably priced caterers in the area. The setup for the wedding was top notch. We had so many guests come up to us saying how amazing the food was and tried to get seconds. We really vibed with the owners' personalities and are really just down to earth people.
This place sneakily blew us away! As we looked over the menu he was nice enough to offer us brisket fat for our pups, of course that wins points in our books! But that aside, I’d still give 5 stars because the food was phenomenal! The brisket, pulled pork and fried chicken were all so tender and perfectly seasoned! My husband and I split a meal and polished the plate in no time. The hush puppies are a great take on cornbread that I haven’t seen other places, again not dry and very tasty. But THE SAUCES. Ugh I’m a sauce girl and there were lots of options all made in house and well balanced! A must try, highly recommend!
Tried back east bbq at april brews day yesterday. I'm pretty sure I also had it last year on brews day. I love bbq, and i love mac and cheese. This was 10/10. Delicious. Cheesy. The meat was perfectly seasoned. I've been to many bbq places that are too salty and this was perfect!!! The people working the truck were very nice, and the food came out really quickly after I placed my order. I can't wait to come back for more.
Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. The lead gentleman (I believe his name may have been Ryan — he was wearing a kilt) was loudly bringing plates out during the ceremony, which was disruptive and felt very disrespectful to the couple and guests. Throughout the event, he was openly rude to both the venue staff and guests. To make matters worse, he left before dinner service was even finished — plates hadn’t been cleared, and the mother of the bride was cleaning up because your team did not complete their responsibilities. This was shocking to witness and absolutely not what anyone should experience at a wedding. I wanted to make you aware because this reflects very poorly on your company. I hope you take this seriously and address it with your team so no other family
YUM! Our family is vegetarian, and we visited Danielle's at Wander Brewing. We tried all the vegetarian things, and we were VERY impressed. Hot and crunchy fried eggplant 'wings' with a flavorful slightly spice dipping sauce, mac & cheese topped with eggplant wings, and the chef's special roasted veggie risotto. (Oh, I just realized we didn't try everything, we missed the "plate" configuration with two sides - we'll have to get that one next time. And we arrived too late to try the brunch.) There was at least one vegan option available. Staff were very friendly, witty (we had a nice chat about the lost art of talking on the phone) and efficient in taking our order and delivering our meal to the table. We plan to make Danielle's a regular stop on the dinner rotation. Oh and Wander Brewin
