Darien Waterfront Inn

Absolutely wonderful stay! The Darien Waterfront Inn exceeded every expectation—from the peaceful waterfront views to the warm Southern hospitality that made us feel right at home. The rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was delicious and very accommodating of my allergies. The location is perfect: quiet and relaxing. Most of all, Joanne and Dave went above and beyond to make our visit special. We left feeling refreshed and well taken care of. Highly recommend this charming inn to anyone visiting the area! My wife and I spent 4 days at the Waterfront Inn in Darien. We visited Darien to meet and catch up with another couple whom we have known for years. The Inn could not have been more perfect for our needs. We had a picture perfect experience. Quiet, scenic, relaxing. In fact, the photos on their website, though beautiful, did not do justice for the setting...don't think that would be possible! Oh, and David and JoAnn were amazing (great breakfasts too!). 5 star plus experience!

My husband and I had one downstairs room and my mother (in her 90s) had the other downstairs room. The rooms were very comfortable and nicely furnished. The screened in porch overlooking the river and marsh was wonderful and we also had use of the central living room. Joanne and David were wonderful hosts and we felt right at home. The property is conveniently located to walk to downtown and nearby restaurants. We hope to make this an annual trip.

We enjoyed a perfect 2 night stay here to attend a family wedding in town. The Inn is spotlessly clean and welcoming. The beautiful porch off our room and facing the water made enjoying our morning coffee particularly pleasant. The breakfasts were delicious. Conveniently located, with easy parking.

1st time in Darien. One of the most laid back areas that I have been too. Great place to unwind and unplug. The B&B hit all the points. Great host, great location, great room and bed, along with the view of the marsh. The view at back porch is one of the highlights. Host served breakfast every morning along with coffee.We will be back and most definitely will stay at Darien waterfront end.
