Dave's Hot Chicken

I had an amazing experience at Dave’s Hot Chicken in Albany! The chicken sandwich was absolutely incredible — perfectly crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. Every bite had that signature Dave’s kick without overpowering the taste. The mac and cheese was also solid and comforting, a decent side that paired really well with the heat of the sandwich. The food came out fresh, the portions were satisfying, and the service was quick and friendly. Definitely one of my new favorite spots for a spicy and delicious meal. Highly recommend!

One of our brothers introduced us to Dave’s Hot Chicken, mentioning that their chicken items are halal certified. He also bought sliders and fries for us,items were absolutely delicious! He chose the medium spice level, which was perfect. The fries were also amazing, as i love seasoned fries, and with their Dave's signature dip, they tasted incredible. However, we didn’t notice any halal tag like other halal restaurants usually display. When asked, they explained that while the chicken itself is halal certified, not all menu items can be categorized as halal due to other offerings. This is by far my favorite fast food joint in the world. The place in Albany served great comfort food. They were not stingy at all. They loaded everything up well !! I’ve been here 2X. I plan on returning again. I always get my moneys worth here. Costs $20-$30 on occasion. The artwork on the walls and paint schemes are awesome and fun.

🔥 Dev’s Hot Chicken – Albany Crispy, juicy, and seriously spicy! 🌶️ Tried the Medium – had a kick but still full of flavor. Fries were crispy perfection & sauce was addictive. Small place, big taste. Worth the heat! 🔥🍗

The only issue i have with this place is the tight entry/exit of their location in Albany and people parking in the exit lane so they can run in and out but it blocks the ability to enter and leave. Otherwise its so good! Get extra Dave's sauce!
