Dayton Metro Library - Vandalia Branch

I tried to use the printer at this location. I believe it was having some technical difficulties which is electronics. I swiped my card and it stated approved on the machine. There was a librarian who was incredibly rude and nasty to me who said that my card wasn't charged so I called the line after she insisted I continue to swipe my card. The $3 fee that is printed on the vending part where you insert your money was removed from my card. I informed the librarian and she said it wasn't they charge only $1 holding fee, however she could give me the benefit of the doubt this time. I come to this library often. I have had help from several other librarians who are nice and respectful. I have always had a pleasant experience prior to this

Great location in Vandalia near the industrial park, businesses, and airport north of Dayton. Easy access to check out materials online or in person and the staff are very helpful to troubleshoot issues. I was here in between business meetings and able to get things done!

You guys need to mention that the computers shut off ten minutes early ok. Not all of us are just mind readers. When we need to get something quickly done....and we are looking at that timer .....which isn't even complete....doing something important that we need to print.....NOW it can't even be done. I'll tell ya too this clearly isn't something new....let people know this. Ridiculous

Made a great first impression! Books were organized, floors were clean, staff was helpful. Was disappointed that when the next door school unleashed the kids, it got extremely loud, which wouldn’t have bothered me as much if they hadn’t been using crass language around my little ones. I know their behavior isn’t the library’s direct responsibility, but facilitating an appropriate environment for everyone is.

I just tried 8 different computers ALL of them had "pending active reservations" you should not be allowed to reserve a computer at the PUBLIC library it should be first come first serve
