dba256 Bar & Gallery

I have been a patron of DBA for well over a decade now. I have always enjoyed the wide selection of beers, and it has always been a great place to meet with friends. At my last visit however, I was extremely disappointed. As soon as we entered, I got hit with the smell of urine and old mop water. The whole floor was sticky, and the smell was throughout the whole bar. I was a bit embarrassed, since we were meeting up with family from out of town. The whole thing made it difficult to enjoy my beer, but we were all good sports about it and stuck around to catch up while having a drink. I eventually braced myself to go to the bathroom, readying myself for an even worse experience. To my surprise, IT WAS THE ONLY PLACE THAT SMELLED NICE. An interesting bar venue in downtown Pomona with a really big beer selection. The venue area has cool lighting and a good amount of seating, both long, high bar tables and shorter tables with a booth on one side. The bathrooms are OK, pretty punk-ish vibe to them (and I think the men’s stall needs some updating on the lock situation). Overall it’s a pretty decent spot for beer and music. I didn’t try the food so cannot comment on it yet.

Hadn't really gone out in a long time in this type of environment. It was nice to enjoy the band playing as usual and they always have my favorite sculpin beer IPA. It was nice to be out back at dba.

This is a fantastic venue, I came for a live DJ event and I couldn't be happier. The beer selection is generous and they also have other drinks like wine. This is all around a great bar.

I haven't been here in quite some time, but I enjoy the service, the atmosphere, and everything is 10/10!
