De Clieu Coffee & Sandwich - Fairfax

My wife and I are coffee lovers and have traveled all over the world for great coffee. While visiting family in the DMV, we stumbled across De Clieu. Who knew that this local corner in Fairfax, Virginia would become one of our new favorite cafés? The moment we walked in and saw the top-of-the-line La Marzocco espresso machine, we knew we were in the right place. We tried the Orange Bonbon and the Pumpkin Spice Latte, both recommended by the barista and WOW. We loved them. The cream and the espresso shots were PERFECT. We HAD to the barista about the drinks, and you can tell they genuinely care. They explained how meticulous they are with every part of their process, including a custom Intelligentsia blend created specifically for this cafe and this cafe alone, which is pretty crazy. I a

Atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The space feels bright and clean, and you can tell they put care into creating a comfortable environment. The food and drinks were excellent. Employees were really friendly. Definitely worth a visit

Overall, a good place but not amazing. I’d give it 4 stars out of 5. The food and sweets were okay, nothing special. The service was a bit off, they forgot to bring the cake to our table. It might have been because they were very busy, which is understandable. When it finally came, it was too sweet, to the point that it was hard to finish. That said, the atmosphere is nice, and overall it’s still a good spot for brunch. I’d recommend people to check it out and enjoy their brunch.

De Clieu is my favorite coffee shop in Fairfax and probably anywhere. The atmosphere is so welcoming and the staff are the best and the most friendly people. This is all without acknowledging the coffee itself, which is an extremely smooth and pleasant espresso. All of there drink options are amazing and so are the food options. I love this place.

My friends and I were at the Fairfax library and stumbled upon this café, it looked so cute and cozy from the outside that we decided to try it for breakfast. The food was absolutely delicious, everything came out quickly, and the service was excellent. Prices are affordable and convenient, which makes it even better. We’ll definitely be coming back!
