Dead End Bakehouse

Terrible restaurant!!! If you have all day to wait for an overpriced day-old tasteless hunk of baked dough put on a coat and walk to the corner of 11th and Bay because if you drive, YOU WILL NOT FIND A PLACE TO PARK!!!! The employees park their cars in all of the closest spots and so does their company van. Today, their van and delivery trucks blocked the entire street for at least 15-20 minutes preventing about 100 neighbors from getting to work and school. The name is perfect, this place really is a DEAD END!

Walk in, show the app. No wait, smiling staff gives me a huge heavy bag. First time: 11 assorted bagels, 2 special muffins, one large choc chip cookie. Second time: 11 assorted bagels (2 red and green braided Christmas motif) and one surprise chicken pot pie in a great pastry shell. Fed 2 for lunch. We had all the kids in and they loved the assortment, size, and quality of all the items. Seriously a lot for 7.99. More than expected and my wife and I just freeze half for later.

It’s a real shame they can’t figure out how to efficiently make/serve food because the bagels and coffee are awesome! The wait times are an absolute joke. Went in mid February and literally waited 35 minutes for a single breakfast sandwich that we had to ask if it was ready yet, multiple times, as customer after customer, walked in, placed order, got food and left before we got ours… Breakfast sandwich was like a 4/10, the bagels and coffee are awesome, just make sure you don’t have any plans because you’re gonna be there waiting for your food all day

Best Breakfast & lunch option in Ocean City. I got the Jersey hangover on the Cheddar Jalepeno bagel. AMAZING. My husband got the crabby grilled cheese & loved it as well. The wait was typical for a Sunday morning I believe. Absolutely worth it though. The bagel was so fresh & the pork roll was perfect.

My boyfriend & I would get the bagels from here all the time about 2 years ago & have always loved them. The service was usually quick unless it was busy in the summer but the wait was never super long. Lately, since the beginning of this summer till now, the service has gone horrible. The bagel sandwiches are made all messy, fall apart, they give uncooked looking bacon, the eggs aren’t even neat on the bread. The avocado's were brown today, and my bacon was burnt. The app tells you a time it’s done and whenever I go to pick my order up, it’s not even on the shelf. I’ll wait an additional 20 minutes it still won’t be done yet. The workers seem to be moving at a slow pace. It sucks because it used to be so good.
