Declan Morsels in Pleasanton is a fantastic spot, especially if you love good chai. We tried the Irani chai and the Jafrani chai, and they are easily some of the best chai we’ve ever had. The Irani chai was rich, comforting, and perfectly balanced, while the Jafrani chai really stood out—the saffron flavor was beautifully infused, smooth, and aromatic without being overpowering. What made it even better was the texture—light, frothy, and creamy, almost like the Irani chai whipped together with saffron into something special. It felt indulgent, warm, and incredibly well made. If you’re a chai lover, this place is an absolute must-visit. Declan Morsels clearly puts thought and care into their drinks, and it shows in every sip. Highly recommend stopping by and trying these teas.

Deccan Morsel is beautifully done. The vibe is warm, clean, and it feels like a place you actually want to come back to. Big shoutout to Zubu. He’s friendly, remembers you, and somehow even knows our regular order. It genuinely saves time. He’s also the kind of guy who speaks less but just gets it with a few gestures, and I love that. My go-to order is the 65 rumali and the zafrani chai every time, and it always hits. Consistent food, good service, and a great overall experience.

If you looking for great chai experience and happen to be around Dublin, Pleasanton east bay a must have is a Deccan Morsels i tried their Irani chai. It was very tasty and reminded me of chai back home. They have other Deccan delights too. You can do catering orders for Hyderabad’s biryani too.

It’s been a couple of times we had Irani Chai, Paneer 65 roll and bun cutlet. We had bun muska sometimes too. Irani chai is delicious. Over zafrani I seem to like Irani better. We are vegetarian and the food is very good consistently. It is different from traditional paneer rolls and cutlets so don’t expect rather similar tastes to other Indian cuisines. The staff is nice and considerate. We have been here with family and friends. Overall a good hangout place.

What an overrated place. Heard from few people who recommended this place so we decided to try it. Chicken shawarma roll - first few bites were good. Then hit the fenugreek flavor in it which ruined it for me. It tasted bitter and blah. Chicken 65 roll - Flavorless and boring. How can someone get chicken 65 wrong, it beats me. Wouldn’t recommend it. Lokhmi - Was intrigued by the name but it was just deep fried puffs. There was literally a tiny teaspoon of meat in it. It was just dough deep fried, literally oozing oil 🤮 Bun Shami- They were the most dull and boring thing. It was literally just the patty n the bun. It was so dry that we ended up leaving it.
