Deering Ice Cream

Tonight, this deering ice cream van came driving down our private camp road going way too fast for this area. My daughter saw the van go by and noticed there were books also. She wanted to see if there were any she would like so she stopped the van on the way back by. She looked at the books, a lot of Stephen King and the like, and decided there was nothing there that she wanted to buy. The man was EXTREMELY rude. He said that we can’t just stop him if we aren’t going to buy anything and he said something else with that rude attitude but honestly I was so shocked at his attitude and look on his face I didn’t hear it. Little bit of a known racist Absolutely! Couple days ago, went for a treat and overheard him talking about some unspeakable things that would get me banned off this sight. As I'm not going to disclose what was said as like I mentioned the whole ban thing, it was derogatory terms against other individuals who didn't mean his "criteria" for skin color. 😊 hope this helps people! My son has been asking for sonic ice cream since summer began. Deering ice cream was the only person/place/truck who had sonic. (And we've been to a lot). He was helpful to keep me informed of his location, as I drove to find him.(he is a movie ice cream truck after all). I drove 30mins to another town to hunt down the ice cream man for my son and IT WAS WORTH IT. Super kind gentle man! Great variety of ice cream choices
