Del Taco

Del Taco's snack tacos are one of the best Tex-Mex tacos out there; fairly cheap but always fresh and tasty in a way that certain larger chains often fail to replicate. This location was no different. It took a few minutes to get what I ordered but I think I caught them right when they were transitioning to lunch hours. Either way my food was hot and fresh and that's always worth a couple extra minutes of waiting. 5/5 would go back if I'm ever in Carson City again.

Most horrible experience I have ever had!!! Never have I ever had worse experience at Del Taco. Supposedly, I spoke to the GM Scott. He said that he would replace the order completely for me. I told him what was wrong with the food. The food was not appetizing, I specifically asked for lots of sauce (didn't get a single one), fries were under cooked for about a minute so they were potatoes, the taco shells were old and stale, etc. He then asked me what was wrong again. Then he said let me talk to my higher ups. He said he would call me back. He never did! How rude. I literally left the food in my kitchen waiting for his call. So I call back 24 hours, speak to manager, Juan and he says oh yes you spoke to my GM and he said he is not willing to replace the food because of the price. WOW!!!

Monday 8:30 AM. My son and I went inside to order some food. We waited for 14 minutes, no one came to the front counter to take our order. We could hear them gossiping in the back room. So we went to Roberto’s. Roberto’s is always reliable. More quality food as well.

Basic fast food joint with pretty good burritos and tacos. Fresh tea was also good. Bathrooms were tolerable.
