Del Taco

Here at around 1:30pm. Ate some food. Wife had to use the restroom. The lady at the front didn't want to acknowledge my wife was there. There was a customer directly in front of my wife and as soon as the cashier finished with that customer she walked away from the counter. The meals were coming out for the customer that was ahead (they had two transactions) and customer had started to walk away. Their second meal was called by the cook, cashier said "she just walked out". The cook asked the cashier to walk it out for them so they have all their food. Cashier refused to walk the food out was extremely rude to coworker. The cashier brings a negative hostile work environment and an unpleasant customer experience all around. Disgusting! Went through the drive-thru. Ordered two tacos, a drink, and two chili cheese fries. The chili cheese fries were completely inedible. Both orders were hard, dry, and cold. The fries were hard and cold. The chili was a strange red color and only covered a third of the fries. The grated cheese was fully intact and unmelted. To me, it smelled like vomit. I've lived in the Palmdale area for over 25 years, and I've patronized this Del Taco for close to 20 years. I will definitely not be returning to this particular Del Taco any time soon. The "food" that we received was slop. It wasn't fit for a dog to consume. After opening up the bag at home, it went straight into the garbage. Waste of money, time, and gas. Terrible!

I mean its Del Taco so the food is what you get. But this location always has super friendly staff and a fast drive through. They have never messed up my order, even when my kids are being overly particular. Quality spot for a quick cheap bite. Again the food is Del Taco, but the service is always great.

I usually love Del Taco but whoever set the schedule tonight likely lost this location repeat business. Now I know my $35.00 a few times a week won't bankrupt them. Still as the franchisee I'd want to know the employees ignore customers standing at the counter. When an order is messed up they say just scrape it off. Then when we finally got our fries it seemed like the only attempted to cook them but failed miserably.

Their fountain drinks are disgusting!🤮 They smell and taste like MOLD!!! They probably haven’t changed the hoses in their soda machine since they OPENED their store over 20 years ago!!! Sickening!! I think they need to be SUED!! I also want to add I went through the drive thru and they forgot to add my desert-Carmel cheesecake bites no straws or napkins. Drove home when I seen they ripped me off!! Wasn’t worth the drive back and to make matters worse their phone number doesn’t work!!! Why include a phone number you know doesn’t work in your website!!
