Denny's Restaurant

Let me save everyone some time: IT HASN’T OPENED YET (1/17/26). The space itself has been vacant and boarded up ever since IHOP moved out almost 3 years ago. They finally began construction on the building (for Denny’s) in mid 2025, but — despite the erroneous (sus? 👀) reviews on here saying otherwise — it remains boarded up and is being worked on. There have been at least a half dozen “opening on (DATE)!” announcements here on Google Maps and on social media, but they’ve all come and gone with absolutely nothing actually happening. Hopefully it opens sometime before 2030 and I can update this review accordingly. 🙃

My mom has been coming to Dennys in San Fernando for a long time. So on her birthday, we all went for early dinner. The customer service was excellent, the food was really good I was very surprised! I had there Salmom dinner, is was cooked to perfection and so delicious. My mom had her favorite spaghetti with meatball, she very much enjoyed it! I really appreciate the level of service they all provide. Now my husband and I, are coming to our location in Chatsworth. We absolutely love the family style restaurant and we recommend it ! It's super clean, and again the staff is so attentive and friendly! Thank you so much Team Dennys.

This location is NOT open YET. It's set to open eventually...Which is good news since Chatsworth lost its Dennys years ago.

Best Dennys location in LA. Not sure why people can’t find it.
