The new owner took our order and was extremely sweet and helpful. He recommended the fried fish platter so we decided to give it a shot. Everything about the platter was as delicious and filling as he had promised. I would 100% get this again.
Seasoned fries were rock hard, so presumably burnt Other than that the burger was nice along either side the milkshake. Service was excellent with a smile.
Let's start on the high note! The waitress was friendly and appreciated our patience. Food: waffle tasted like it had set awhile was not hot. Waited awhile to even be seated. Then waited the same amount of time to even have our drink order taken. We observed many unhappy, yet patient, customers. They really need more staff. Our waitress did the best she could do and I appreciate that.
Was very quiet, maybe 2 tables already seated. Food was 8/10. My server either was on an off day or just wanted nothing to do with me.
We left Ihop on Apalachee to come here. We were greeted, immediately sat and our server was on top of things the entire time. It was very spacious and clean. The manager spoke and greeted us as well. Our server was knowledgeable of the menu, with our questions and even the census of more popular foods and customer preferences. Our food came hot and fresh and our drinks never emptied. I would drive all the way here as opposed to the one on N. Monroe.
