Denny's Restaurant

I live nearby and like coming to this Denny’s for a late breakfast. April was my server. She was so sweet and attentive. And you know I had to get the Grand Slamwhich!

I normally don't have a bad thing to say about the places we stop to eat. But here at the Denny's restaurant located at the Flying J in New Caney, Texas.... The staff here is wonderful and so helpful but I'm so disappointed in the cook and stuff in the kitchen. I must say this is the worst food I have ever been served and they gave us a second round of eggs that were still overcooked. Our toast was not even toasting and the grits were undercooked and so were the hash browns. In my opinion the entire kitchen staff needs an overhaul big time!!! Dame Denny's I used to like eating here and now I choose anywhere else other than a Denny's restaurant. April or server was a Doll and very helpful.

Came in at 10:40am it took at least 10 minutes to take out drinks and appetizers. Wanted hazelnut with my coffee they said they don't carry this anymore so she sent us to the store area to go get some. Wanted macaroni with my chicken fried steak and said tgey don't have any. My husband wanted ribs because they come on the skillet macaroni and cheese then the ribs but the whole meal wasn't available. I was thinking may be they should tell is what we can order not what we would like to order, we asked twice for napkins that never came waited on refills tge whole restaurant a mess I'm not sure if they have persons bussing tables. Some of the food tasted like they were cooked in old oil!.

We stopped at the Fluing J and then decided to grab a bite at the Danny's. The service was quick, coffee hot, and my omlette was pretty good. I got the veggie omlette with spinach. Overall it was a good choice to eat here. Our server was Mark, and he was very attentive and polite as well. I'd recommend this restaurant as a good place to stop for a travel break along your trip.
