Derby Deli is a hidden gem! The food is excellent, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. They offer a great food and have an excellent selection of wine.
This is definitely one of the best Salad and sandwich I’ve had in a while. The ingredients are extremely fresh and very tasty. Who would have thunk? A deli in a liquor store is where it is at!
Tried the Reuben and it was one of the better ones I have had in Springfield. I will Say it is the best just was a little heavy on the sauerkraut. It still came out really good though. Also got to try the tarragon chicken salad sandwich. I thought that was better than the Reuben. Overall I am satisfied with the service and the atmosphere.
Wow Wow Wow! A friend had suggested we go to her favorite lunch spot and now I know why! The store is quaint! Filled with vinegars and all food trinkets and in the middle is a deli with great sandwiches and teas!
The deli servers were extremely friendly and helpful. Their upbeat attitudes brightened my day. I don't live in Springfield, just stopped here for lunch on my way home to Texas, but if I did, Derby Deli would be my favorite place
