Derbès Mansion

Our experience at the Derbes Mansion was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, the bridal suite felt like something out of a movie, with its stunning bathroom, elegant bedroom, and beautiful balcony. Every corner of the mansion was perfectly curated, and we truly didn’t need to add any decorations inside-it was beautiful on its own. The outdoor spaces, with lush greenery, palm trees, a charming stone fountain, and a lovely gazebo, provided the perfect backdrop for our celebration. Guests loved that there were so many cozy spots to relax and mingle, making everyone feel at home while still enjoying the elegance of the mansion. It was the perfect venue for our special day.

My husband and I stayed at Derbes for our wedding weekend in January 2025 (the week of the snowstorm in New Orleans). I can't tell you how nervous I was that we wouldn't have a wedding. Chris and Jessica x2 were the most amazing and gracious hosts! They personally made sure that the property was in excellent shape for our guests, our rehearsal dinner and the day after wedding celebration! I couldn't have thanked them enough for making sure that everything went off without a glitch. What a beautiful and elegant property that also feels like home! Definitely a perfect place to host events. Thanks again!!

My husband and I got married and had our wedding festivities at Derbes in March 2025. From the moment we walked through the venue, we knew it was the place for us. We loved getting to stay with all of our friends from Thursday to Sunday. It made the whole experience so much fun and so special and I didn't feel like I missed out on any of the friends and family fun because I was not removed. Chris and Jess were so wonderful to work with and went above and beyond in helping us make our wedding weekend amazing.

Our wedding weekend at the Derbes was absolutely magical! Chris, Jessica, and their whole team were absolutely wonderful throughout the entire planning process and all of our vendors enjoyed working with them. All of our guests loved the venue and it was so nice to be able to hang out there all weekend, especially hanging out by the pool on Sunday afternoon. We got married here in November 2025 and it was absolutely magical. Chris was was the main person we interacted with and did the tours with and he was so great and absolutely hands on but also gave us lots of space that are Derbes feel like a home. The AC did break in the carriage house and he immediately sent someone over on a Friday afternoon to fix it. Everything was so perfect with the venue. Our whole wedding party had nothing but great things to say about the venue as well. A few high points about why we chose this venue and how it worked for us: -we were able to get ready at the venue together without having to change locations which kept us on track with our timeline and made getting ready relaxing -we were able to door dash anything last minute we needed because it’s pretty centr
