DeRomo's Restaurant: Italian Dining

All I can say is OH MY GAWD!!!! From the moment we walked into this beautiful restaurant we felt like family!! We were greeted by a pretty young girl named Summer with the best smile & attitude & Steve, the owner, whose personality was fun & familiar. Summer seated us at the BEST table in the house, well out of the house, on the patio by the waterfall. Our server Warner quickly & warmly greeted us. He answer our many questions & both he & Summer made excellent recommendations. We went with the wedge salad, meatball with ricotta for starters & Rigatoni alla vodka w/chicken, cheese Ravioli & chicken parmesan... the starters including the bread with specialty butter were INCREDIBLE... My Mom and I enjoyed a lovely lunch! Our server is Mun & she walked us through the menu and gave us amazing recommendations. My mom ordered their seafood salad. It was fresh with lots of seafood on it and I had one of the pasta dishes with blackened shrimp. I also had a side of their homemade mozzarella and we enjoyed. We enjoyed a reasonably priced upscale Chardonnay from the Russian River. The atmosphere is elegant and comfortable. Chef Gabby came out to ask us how everything was and of course we gave her the thumbs up. Highly recommend & coming back Saturday night!!!!

DeRomo's Restaurant can be found in the shopping district known as the Promenade at Bonita Bay. DeRomo’s is a fantastic Italian eatery that features a gourmet market attached to it. The food and service were absolutely incredible; we loved the pasta fagioli, the ravioli, and a special dish of grilled shrimp with spinach, garlic, and oil. There is also a nice size bar area for cocktails. There’s both indoor and outdoor seating available. The market has baked goods, imported items, ready-to-eat meals, and a whole lot more.

Excellent lunch in the restaurant. The chicken parm sandwich was served in an excellent baguette, as was my wife's meatball sandwich. We both had the chopped iceberg salad as a side, which we really enjoyed. I asked for an affogato, which was not on the dessert menu, but they made me what I'd call an "affogato plus" which came with a biscotti and good sized scoop of gelato. Very nicely done. (I had already started eating when I took the photo).

Being new in the area I did a google search and decided on exploring the Promenade at Bonita Bay. DeRomo’s Restaurant was my first stop. The rave reviews lived up to the expectations🌟 Sergio served me on the patio. He was warm, friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious, with good sized portions and did not disappoint. I enjoyed the meatball sandwich with loads of mozzarella and a Caesar Salad. To complete my meal I was treated to a mouth-watering authentic cannoli. The atmosphere of the Promenade complete with waterfalls and ponds is very relaxing. Following my meal I strolled looking in the shops. DeRomo’s Gourmet Market was very impressive and definitely a place I will revisit and consider when needing a gift card or gift basket. I understand there are Happy Hours, Live M
