Desii Drive Indian Street Food

Honestly don’t quite remember exactly what I ordered— I just picked things that had main ingredients that I knew I liked (rice, Chana(chickpeas), yogurt). I’ve had Indian food many times and know that it’s sooo good when done right, and dang!! They did it right. Not as common of items that are typically picked at Indian restaurants, but Flavors are so good (and better than what I’ve found at any Knoxville Indian cuisine). So happy with my random picks. I went all savory (not a big sweets person) and so happy with everything. I used to be good with spice but my tolerance has decreased, and it is spicy for me. But the flavor makes the spice worth the pain (not always true with spice!). Anyway, I’ll be back. So good, and so much better than I could have imagined for a random food truck in

Very friendly owners! I wasn’t sure what to get since I haven’t had much Indian food before and they recommended Chloe Bhature. They made everything fresh to order. The curry was a little too savory for me, but the bread was amazing!! They also gave me a sample of the Gulab Jamun which was like a cake ball soaked in a super sweet syrup- so good! Fair pricing on all their menu items as well. I will definitely be coming back to try more of their menu!!

As an Indian student that lives far from home I’ve missed having foods my family used to make. Coming here brought back soo many memories! I absolutely loved their food as well as their service! Highly recommend the original Vada pav over the cheese one. Both are great tho!!! I would totally drive an hour and a half each week just to come here for food :)

Great food and great people. The prices are also very reasonable! I highly recommend checking out this location. I get the veggie and cheese sandwich. And it always comes out amazing.

The Pani Puri was pretty good and spicy, the food tasted real like India, if you guys are in the area it is a must visit place.
