Di Yaad is only open on weekends, but trust me, the food and portion sizes are worth the wait! Everything is freshly made and 100% plant-based—no Beyond or processed products here. So, if you're into those, this might not be the spot for you. This weekend, we tried the new Brown Stew Vegan Fish... simply incredible! And the Jerk Burrito? 😍😍 Let me tell you, after that meal, I had to double-check to make sure I wasn’t eating real fish. 🤓 Flavor, freshness, and authenticity—Di Yaad always delivers!

Food is delicious and flavorful. It’s a vibe. Kinda feels like you’re at a little stand somewhere in Jamaica enjoy delicious food. I got the bbq jerk fry. And jerk elotes. I recommend both. The last Sunday of each month they have brunch menu, I’ll be back for that!

i finally got to try this place after months of knowing about it. everything i expected, and better. i got the jerk bbq fry mushroom box and i was amazed with the flavor and quality. the service was also outstanding! they're willing to bring the food out to the closest gate off of taft st in cases where you don't need to park at the market, which makes getting food from there way easier than you'd think. need to go back asap and try more of the menu!

I am not vegan, but this vegan food is fire.🔥🔥🔥🔥 We ordered the vegan jerk philly sub, jerk rolls, plantain fries and the jerk corn elotes. My favorite is the jerk rolls & plantains fries with spicy jerk sauce dip. The philly jerk sub is flavorful. Go check them out..

$15 to pay for farmers market parking which stinks of this is all you intended to check out but the vibe of stand is incredible. The woman at the counter was so friendly and welcoming and offered some great recommendations from the fairly large menu. Plantain fries are really tasty, jerk mushrooms (in several dishes) have a like heat but aren't in your face, and the rice and beans are so good. Recommend grabbing a freezing coke juice or smoothie from one of the other stalls to enjoy with you meal.
