The napoleons were OK but not as good as Stella's in North Beach. Their eclairs were also good with a solid chocolate frosting that wasn't too artificial or flavorless like some other places. We live in the neighborhood and it's easier to come here; honestly the canollis and Italian cookies are better at Stella's but if it's too much of a trek to get to N. Beach so... unless it's a special occasion and we have to bring a dessert at someone's party, this place here is adequate. Service was poor; just rude with a lot of attitude. We were polite and didn't say anything remotely bad but for some reason we dealt with a very curt and irritable lady. Oh well... we'll be back because, sadly, the good Italian pastry shop in SF is too far away!!

I am not particularly picky when it comes to dessert but this cake was just so dry and flavorless! The only good part about the cake was the filling, other than that, I would not recommend. The icing doesn’t have any taste… any cake would’ve tastes better than this, especially for almost 60 dollars for a small cake!

Dianda’s Italian American Pastry is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth or an appreciation for true craftsmanship. They really do have everything, and it’s easy to see why the hype exists. I tried their loaf and a random pastry, and both were perfection—delicate, soft, and buttery in all the right ways. Each bite felt thoughtfully made, a little indulgent, and completely satisfying. If you want pastries that feel both comforting and elevated, Dianda’s is a spot that doesn’t disappoint.

Strawberry cake was dry and tasted old. The only good cake is their millefoglie cake but only when ordered whole. So disappointed with the cake. I won’t be coming back.

One of very few places left that's survived the pandemic and cultural diversity! I'm 46 and this place has been around since as long as I can remember! Delicious cakes, cookies, and pastries especially my favorite the cannoli! Tres leches are also my go-to with mango, pineapple, guava, and chocolate to choose from! Get there early or you will miss out plus place can get pretty packed at times! Service is always great and the price definitely reflects quality!
