I went to Jim Hartley almost two years ago to get help catching up on my income taxes, which he agreed to do. It took 8 months with several phone calls and emails to get my taxes done. Rarely did I get a response to these. I immediately paid Jim Hartley for his services and paid my taxes. After that, I was contacted by the IRS saying I owed additional money. That was a year ago. I provided Mr. Hartley with the documentation and a letter asking for help since he prepared my tax returns and meeting with him was not an option. Again, many empty promises and unanswered emails and phone calls trying to get advice and help. I finally gave up and went to another accountant recently.
