The food is Devine! My husband and I both ordered the baked potato with a choice of smoked meat. He ordered the brisket and i ordered thebpulled pork. Both are wonderful and MASSIVE! I couldn't believe it when I saw it, lol. I thought it was going to be a regular sized potato and worried about it being filling enough. I was pleasantly wrong 😄 we also ordered a side of mac and cheese and the cup of chillies. Which again, both are so delicious. Would definitely recommend this place and would definitely return!
I had to try Dickey’s BBQ pulled pork after seeing it was ranked the best pulled pork sandwich in the country by Eat This, Not That — and wow, they weren’t kidding. The meat was super tender, smoky, and packed with flavor. The sauce hit perfectly, and the bun held up like a champ. Totally lived up to the hype. I’m already planning my next trip back
Very nice family business, when you walk in they make you feel welcomed right away, the food is fantastic especially the ribs and brisket are the best in san Diego, kids friendly with multiple options on the menu. We always go there after movie night at the cinema. Also they are great for catering they deliver all the way to Santee.
We met several friends while visiting and had a yummy lunch. Service was a little slow, but that was ok. Food was fresh and hot & we really enjoyed the interaction with our order taker/server. She was a hoot, and was really good at reading reactions (I shouldn't take my husband out in public because he just can't behave! JK--he's very funny, but not everyone gets his comments, but she did & gave it right back to him, which was really fun and added to the event.)
Super friendly service. Food was tasty. Meat was tender. Sandwich was a bit lacking in meat to bread, onion, pickle ratio and cheese not too melted but great flavor. The sausage was really good too. Again it was kind of luke warm not hot and fresh. Overall, great lunch and great price too for the Wednesday special of sandwich two sides and a drink for $13.95.
