First time going and food was spectacular! The sandwich, salad, loaded fries, fried okra, beans, coleslaw...all bomb! Thank you Brayden for good ol' fashion hospitality! Definitely recommend!
Nope, this is not it. I'm from Saint Louis, Missouri, home of amazing BBQ and Dickey's falls way short. Brisket is over salted and contained a good amount of fat. The sausage tasted like it was microwaved from frozen. The sides were just 'eh. Portions were rather small and my meal came to $24!!! I am dead. This would have been $12 in Saint Louis, with bigger portions and better tasting food. The BBQ sauces were overly spiced, but lacking actual flavor. Their "regular" drink cup is oddly small too. No way I could ever justify eating here again. But giving 3 stars for good service and because they were open New Years day. There might be free ice cream? Unless that's just a promotion today... I did find an allergen list of menu items that might be gluten-free.
Our 1st visit was a perfect one. Brayden took good care of my husband, my 4 kids, and myself. Very clean restaurant, delicious food, perfect customer service, and very patient with my kids' changing their mind over and over lol. Plus free ice cream after! Thanks again Dickey's, you rock. 💖
I used to love Dickey's. When my family and I went in I felt like I was an inconvenience even though there was no one else in line. The manager was rude and short with us. He kept bickering at his employee and arguing about who checked the bag. Which clearly no one did because we were missing our sides. The Ice cream machine clearly does not get cleaned on a regular basis or was dirty and tasted milk sour milk which is a huge health code violation. We will not be returning because we do not want to get food poisoning.
The employees had to know how bad the food was that they served us. How could they not? How disappointing was Dickies BBQ. went there 6/9/25 for lunch, ordered (x2) 2 meat plates and the ribs were so dry and burnt you could not eat them. Brisket was cooked at too high of a temperature or for too long that it was also so dry you could hardly eat it. The roll itself was so hard that you could not consume that either. The employees had to know how bad the food was cooked. Shame on them for serving it.
