Diego's Fresh Mex

Just stopped by for some information .... Thursday, October 2nd: Really enjoyed playing guitar there tonight. Good crowd, great people. Had a lot of fun. The Taco Salad was Perfect! 👌

Stayed in Flippin to go fishing on the white river. Decided to give Diego’s a try. Food was good. Only complaint I had was the chicken. Had 2 chicken tacos and a chicken chimichanga. The chicken was literally just boiled chicken with no flavor but everything else was good. I did add some photos of the menu since there were none when I placed my to go order. Diego’s , spice up the chicken and get another star. Planning another trip and I’ll go back if we decide to get mex.

We're from out of town and found this place listed as one of the few restaurants in the area that was open on a Monday night. When we arrived at about 5:30pm, we had the whole place to ourselves. By the time we were leaving it was filling in with several other families. We had the daily special which on Mondays is 2 enchiladas with rice and beans. All their prices looked very reasonable but the daily special was a steal! Our dinner for two only cost about $15 before the tip. The food was delicious and I enjoyed that their salsa had a slight kick to it. Overall, great experience.

Horribly decorated, food is very substandard ( after several visits) and they. Sadly as a person who lived in Arizona for nearly 20 years, I’ve yet to find ANY local Mexican food that’s authentic. It’s all Tex mex garbage, this place just shines a light on that fact.

When we lived in Rea Valley, we would always come here on Friday nights. You honestly wouldn't know it by looking at the restaurant, but they do serve some delicious food! I sure miss it!
