Dimo's Pizza Wrigley

It’s hell-a cold outside and I couldn’t convince myself to leave my house for my weekly Zaza’s pizza. Unfortunately they don’t deliver so I tried Dimo via Grubhub. I was concerned when I received a text that my pizza was ready so quickly. I couldn’t imagine that the pizza was made and baked so quickly. I haven’t eaten all day so I was hopeful that this pizza would be delicious with a glass of wine on this cold winter afternoon. Upon opening the box I wasn’t impressed. Two bites, into two slices and I had to stop. The under carriage of the pizza was floppy, the taste was listless, and there was no aroma. Love the pizza here! I always get the pepperoni. They don’t hold back with the enzo pepperoni they put on either. I’m a sucker for pan style crust as well. I’ll take that any day over deep dish. Bleh!

As a loyal fan and follower of Dimo’s, this review does not come lightly. As a vegan of 10 years, this review comes sadly. Word to vegans, check your pizza super hard or avoid. This has now happened about 6 times in the past twoish years where we order a vegan pizza, get home, and it is not vegan. Usually they are good about make it right (after I eat it and feel super sick) but today’s is my final straw and making me question of ever ordering here again. Today we ordered a vegan spice slice and a non vegan pep. I always double check to make sure the cheese is right after too many wrong turns. After consuming TWO SLICES i realized it had fried chicken and not seitan but vegan cheese. We called and they were like oh yeah we think we put real chicken on that. Yes, that is what happened and
