What a gem! Not only was the owner incredibly kind and accommodating but the food was fantastic! You can tell they care about what they do and what they serve. We had such a lovely chat and she even sent me away with one of their famous carrot hot dogs to try- DELICIOUS!! 😋 Even if you are not vegan- go here, the food is outstanding!

you can order through the door and eat at the patio tables or take it to go. the vegan grounds on the nachos seem mushroom based and i’m hesitant with mushrooms but it was really good! sounds like almost all of it is made from scratch, including rotating dessert and lemonade flavors. hope i can come back and try more

Yes ! When I say D E L I C I C I O U S S S ! I MEAN IT. We tried the Filthy Philly, Nacho Supreme and the Classic Dog. Omg it was everything I was looking for in VEGAN!!!. Everything was so tasty and flavorful! Mushrooms are cooked to perfection. Carrot is smoked so perfectly it taste like a real BBQ hotdog but w/o the garbage. Nachos…yummy! This is REAL VEGAN YALL! It’s not the watered-down processed “plant-based” it’s literally from scratch. The service was INCREDIBLE. This is my new “go-to”. Go check them out ASAP. Oh &&my son ate the dog before I can take a fresh pic lol

Oh. My goodness! I visited on my birthday yesterday and my visit literally made my day. ❤️ she was so nice! and she even shares my husbands birthday!! Gave me a birthday surprise, the vegan pudding was delightful 😍 The food was hot and fresh, the trash wings were so good!!! 😋 the fries were cooked perfectly, and you can tell they are fresh! And everything was seasoned well, and the house made ranch and sauces were also delicious and savory! My husband and I both ordered the super dirty chik and it hit the spot!! The service was great, I highly recommend! This is def a must try, I’m coming back!! And telling all my friends to visit too!

I was visiting St. Louis for work and went looking for a good vegan spot. The Dirty Vegan Shack came up in a Google search, and even though it was a 20 minute drive from my hotel, the menu looked too good to pass up. I’m so glad I went! The woman at the order window (I think she’s the owner) was incredibly nice She answered all my questions and recommended the Trash Wings made from fried oyster mushrooms. I ordered half lemon pepper and half spicy. When I picked up my order, she even included a surprise treat, a loaded carrot hot dog. I was skeptical at first, but wow, it tasted just like a real hot dog. She absolutely nailed it. And those wings were crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. You can really taste the love in her food. Even if you’re not vegan, give this place a try. Y
